About Me

Adrienne Parks: Huntington Beach, CA, United States; Adrienne has taught at UCLA since 1985. Her first commercial hit was in 1974 when her first stage play was produced in Washington DC. Since then, she’s written numerous stage and screenplays, won awards in prose and screenwriting. Having received her MFA from UCLA’s Film and Television School, she has written and produced for TV and film. She has had a prolific behind-the-scenes career as: a nationally syndicated columnist's ghostwriter; a feature rewriter and film "script doctor" applying structure, comedy punch-up, and characters to numerous film/TV projects. In addition to her current projects, Adrienne is editing the book she wrote on her father's battle with the Great Amercan Health Care System, tentatively called "Bass Fishing Among the Utbu." She continues to freelance write.
